Brief History of Aviation
Although becoming a pilot may take hard work and dedication, it also offers great beauty and the satisfaction of accomplishing an important goal. Nearly one hundred years ago the idea of human flight was thought absurd.
Flying was something one only did while he was dreaming; but presently one can fly to his destination in the utmost comfort and safety, thanks to the airplane.
IBC Aviation Services provides Express Air Cargo Handling Services at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). IBC has more than 20 years of operating Freight experience as an Expedited Cargo Handler.
We are located directly on the Airfield within Cargo Building One. The 20,000 square foot Facility is equipped as follows:
- 6 Dock-High truck doors and a Ground-Level ramp
- A 7th door has a roller system for Containerized Cargo.
- Fully-Alarmed with a closed-circuit camera system,
- A Walk-In Cooler for Perishable Cargo.
- Diving holidays and tours
- An X-ray machine for non-intrusive cargo examination.

Many Airlines have decided to adapt alternative methods of qualifying, certifying, training, and otherwise ensuring the competency of flight crew members, flight attendants, aircraft dispatchers, instructors, evaluators and other operations personnel. One of the new methods is the Advanced Qualification Programme (AQP).
